It was clear with the 2008 vintage that this uncommon climate and terroir qualified the appellation for a new geographic designation: La Londe. Originally only used for Confidentielle red and rosé and later the 2016 white after approval from French agricultural regulating body INAO, it certifies a unique indication of this alchemy, the product of selecting pure schist parcels, specific blending guidelines and the most stringent regulations.
